The word that is used in place of a noun is called a pronoun.
It is often better to use a pronoun for indicate an object, thing or place. It gives a better meaning and improves the impact to the message that you want to deliver.

Pronoun वह शब्द है जो Noun के स्थान पर प्रयोग किया जाता है. हिंदी में इसे सर्वनाम कहते हैं.
निम्न दो sentences पर गौर कीजिए...

बार-बार Raju बोलने की एवज दूसरी बार Raju के स्थान पर he बोलना ज्यादा अच्छा लगता है.
Pronoun के प्रयोग से लगता है कि उसी व्यक्ति के बारे में बात हो रही
है जिस का उल्लेख पहले किया जा चुका है. हर बार नाम के उपयोग करने से लगता है जैसे हर बार एक नये पात्र के बारे में चर्चा की जा रही है.
