Prepositions द्वारा प्रकट होने वाले सम्बन्ध
Preposition द्वारा प्रकट होने वाले सम्बन्धों को 9 श्रेणियों में वर्गित किया जा सकता है.
Prepositions can be classified into 9 categories depending on the type of description they provide.
इस बात का ध्यान रखें कि एक ही शब्द एक से अधिक प्रकार से सम्बन्ध दर्शा सकता है - निचे दिये गये एक से अधिक श्रेणी में सम्मेलित हो सकता है.
Keep in mind, that the same word can be used to express more than one type of relationship and hence can be included in more than one of the categories listed below.

Prepositions that describe the relation in terms of time.
जब सम्बन्ध सूचक-अव्यय शब्द से समय वाला सम्बन्ध प्रदर्शित होता है तब वे इस श्रेणी में आते हैं.
Words like behind can used to indicate both location and time. The category in which they come will depend on the context in which they are used.
behind जैसे शब्दों का उपयोग दो - स्थान और समय - ओर संकेत करता सकता है. ऐसे शब्द किस श्रेणी में आते हैं इसका फैसला करने के लिये इन्हे किस संदर्भ में उपयोग किया जा रहा है यह परखना जरूरी है.
