Imperative Mood
Imperative mood is exhibited when we ask somebody to do something. This mood is of three types -
Imperative mood प्रकट होता है जब हम किसी को कुछ करने के लिये कहते हैं. यह मूड (भाव) तीन प्रकार के हो सकते हैं -
1. | Wait there.

2. | Come here.
|
3. | Open your
book at page 10. |
1. | Be steady.
|
2. | Take care of your
health.
|
3. | Try to
do better. |
1. | Have mercy on us.

Subjunctive Mood
The third mood is known as subjunctive mood. Verbs used to express a wish, purpose or contrary to truth, to express a condition are said to express the subjunctive mood.
तीसरा mood कहलाता है subjunctive mood. इच्छा, उद्देश्य, सत्य के विपरीत,
कोई शर्त या कल्पना की भावना को प्रकट करने वाले verbs को subjunctive mood
का होना कहा जाता है.
Wish or Desire (इच्छा)
1. | I wish I were there. |
2. | God save my friend.
|
Purpose (उद्देश्य)
1. | We eat so
we may live. |
2. | Take care that no mistakes are made.
|
Contrary to fact (सत्य से विपरीत), Condition (शर्त), Supposition (कल्पना)
1. | He would go if he were here.
|
2. | If I were
sick, I would go to the doctor. |
